Virtual Conference Attendance Tracking
Summary
Tracking works by generating a unique attendance link for each conference which is automatically posted in the Zoom chat during the conference. Attendees must be present in the conference at a specific time to click on the link. After clicking on the link, attendees sign in with a valid Google account (for identity security) and their attendance is logged. Everything can be fully automated with comprehensive analytics.

Full Zoom Automation
if you provide a calendar link to your lecture schedule and the zoom information, link posting can be done automatically for each conference with no required input from chiefs or program directors. You can also post the links manually if you are using another video conferencing platform or prefer to keep your zoom information private.
Rotation Schedule Synchronization
Often residents on vacation or off for individual days are not expected to be in conference. Residents are automatically excused if they are off or on certain rotations (which can be specified in the rotation settings). Note: this requires use of the ScheduleMe scheduling feature
Manually excusing classes
Many conferences are only for specific classes and you can manually excuse certain resident classes or users as appropriate for each conference.
Lecture evaluation
Residents who have swiped in to the conference can easily evaluate the lectures they attended using an Amazon-style 5-star rating and comment system.
Minimal disruption
No complicated QR codes or data entry required! If residents have already signed in to the platform, it’s just a single click of a link in chat and attendance is logged in a second.
Live attendance analytics
See which lectures each resident attended with cumulative and monthly statistics, accounting for lectures the resident was excused from. Data is accessible to each resident as well as chiefs, program directors, or other users you specify. Data is up-to-date the second after the resident clicks the link.

Security Features
Timely Attendance
You can set the attendance link to post at a specific time (15 min after the start of conference). Only residents in attendance at that time would be able to see the link to click it
Identity Assurance
We use Google authentication to verify resident identities, which works even if residents are misnamed on Zoom or have a generic name like “iPhone”
Abuse Reduction Methods
The link is cryptographically generated so it is unique for every conference and can not be re-used. You can also have the link be posted at a random time during the conference to prevent residents from joining only for a specific time to click the link and leave.
