Scheduling Features

ScheduleMe is designed for block and rotation schedules with days off or coverage events in the blocks.

Spreadsheet-like user interface

Use the app just as you would Excel or Google Docs, using arrow keys to navigate and keyboard to select rotations. 

Rotation restrictions and limits

Specify limits on each rotation which are used to check coverage when you make the schedule, pull residents, and add days off.

Day Events

Support for day off, coverage events, and custom notes for individual days within a block. These appear as small icons within the block that can be clicked for full details.

Coverage Checking

Before you add a day off for a resident, you can check to see if coverage is needed based on the restrictions you have set.

Public Facing Page

A public facing page for the schedule is available for you to share. Admins and faculty can easily see who is on a specific rotation throughout the year and residents can see their own schedules.

Schedule Syncing

Residents can sync their personal calendars with their schedule, which update with changes as you make them. See all the details here.

Unassigned Days Off

Support of unassigned vacation / wellness days to keep track of unused payback or other vacation days.

Multiple admin support

Give access to your co-chiefs to maintain the calendar collaboratively.

Full Logging

All changes are fully logged so you can collaboratively work with your chiefs to know if coverage has already been pulled, swaps made, etc.

Bulk Import Features

ScheduleMe has tools to import multiple days off or calendar events. This can be helpful if you collect vacation requests via a Google form or other spreadsheet and want to bulk import them into the system. See more details here.

Unlimited Users, Roles, and Rotations

There is no restriction to the number of users, roles, and rotations you can add to the calendar. Add as many as you need and you can make changes to them at any time.
