ScheduleMe Introduction
What is ScheduleMe?
ScheduleMe is a residency management platform designed by chief residents for chief residents. It is a scheduling, coverage checking, and conference attendance tracking platform to help meet the needs of your chief residency year from building your initial schedule, checking coverage and making changes throughout the year, and monitoring conference attendance and evaluations. The platform is collaborative to allow you to work alongside multiple chief residents and program directors.
Scheduling on ScheduleMe
ScheduleMe is designed for the chief resident who has previously been building the resident schedule on Excel or Google Docs and wants a better solution without paying thousands of dollars for set-up and maintenance of a clunky large commercial solution like QGenda or New Innovations
The system is designed primarily for block and rotation schedules with days off or coverage events in the blocks. There are plenty of coverage checking and pulling tools on the site to make scheduling easier.
ScheduleMe is not ideal for more shift-based schedules (such as in variable ED/ICU shift schedules) and does not automatically build a schedule but will help you in putting together your schedule based on the restrictions and limits you set, share the schedule with residents and faculty, and maintain the schedule with your co-chiefs through the year.
Conference Tracking on ScheduleMe
ScheduleMe includes tools to allow conference/lecture attendance tracking and evaluation for residents. The system works with virtual conferences by generating unique attendance links for each conference that can be posted in the conference chat. ScheduleMe also supports physical badge swipe systems and is compatible with all badges and any plug-and-play badge systems. Residents can use any combination of virtual and physical swipes and can easily access and complete evaluations, which can be shared with faculty.
